After School Recreation Program-Bailey Middle School

Basketball, Soccer Ball, Tennis Ball, Baseball, Football, Volley Ball, and Golf Ball
Students in 7-8 grades may sign up for structured recreational activities offered on Tuesday & Thursday at dismissal until 3:50pm from October - May. Supervised by the W.H.Recreation Dept. staff, this popular COED program is for those students not interested in competitive team sports. Space is limited to 38 student participants and meets in the gymnasium for the FALL & SPRING

Please note: For the spring session 2014-TUESDAY is GIRL'S VOLLEYBALL clinic with UNH collegiate players & THURSDAY is COED activities. A discount is given for those female students that wish to participate on both days. ~ APPLICATIONS are located at Bailey Middle School counter outside the Main Office.~

 SO, watch your school's morning program, listen for announcements of the day during home room and look for W.H. Park/Rec flyers located at school's main office, homeroom teachers or PE teachers! Late bus transportation offered to registered participants departing Bailey at 3:50pm only.

Please note: This after school program encourages active participation and it is our policy that student's refrain from using cell phones  or other electronic devices during the program time.

REGISTER by enrolling online, calling 203 937-3651 or at the Painter Park office. After school application and CASH ONLY fee will be accepted at Bailey's main office in the W.H. Park/Rec after school program registration envelope.

General Information
  • Interested participants may register online, calling 203 937-3651 or at our Painter Park office. Student may return program application and $10 CASH ONLY payment to the WHPR envelope located in Bailey's main office.
  • Afterschool program supervised by college graduates and staff of the West Haven Recreation.
  • For more information parents, guardians or students can contact WHPR after school program coodinator - Diane Dietman.
  • Most activities are co-ed unless noted and space is limited to 38 participants.
  • LATE BUS transportation available from Bailey ONLY to those registered participants.
  • Program does not meet on school holidays or early dismissal day.
